Dani Spampinato
Dani is a Sicilian actor, musical performer and musician whose career spans Italy, Austria and Germany. After graduating from the MTA (Musical Theater Academy) in Catania, he continued his training at the VETA (Vienna's English Theatre Academy). In his home town of Paternò, he worked as an author and director at the Piccolo Teatro. During his career, he has played important roles such as Jamie in THE LAST FIVE YEARS. Eddie Birdlace in DOGFIGHT and Herbert Pocket in GREAT EXPECTATIONS at Vienna's English Theatre, Jonathan Harker in DRACULA. He was part of the German premiere of SPONGEBOB - The Musical and played Phil Spector and Terry Britten in TINA - The Musical at the Apollo Theater Stuttgart. In Vienna, he is the frontman of the band DANI&the500LIRE and hosts concerts and events. As an assistant director he took part in the production of THE DUCHESS OF MALFI and as a tenor and dubbing artist he lent his voice to the German-language highlight CDs of MEMPHIS, FLASHDANCE and GHOST.
