Friederike Kury
Friederike began playing the violin and piano at the age of six. When she performed as a violinist in the band of Jesus Christ Superstar at the age of eleven, her passion for musicals was ignited. She studied dance, singing, and acting at the University of the Arts in Berlin and at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, graduating with distinction. During her studies, she was on stage in numerous projects, including as Stasi in the operetta "Die Czárdásfürstin" and as Tess in the production "Kopfkino" at the Neukölln Opera. After successfully participating in the 46th German National Singing Competition, Friederike was awarded the Charles Kalman Chanson Prize. This was followed by engagements at venues such as the Alte Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, Semmel Concerts, the Schwäbisch Hall Open-Air Theatre, and Schauspiel Leipzig. In addition to her work as a musical theater performer, Friederike is also active as a composer. www.friederikekury.de
