Istvan Csiszar

István Csiszár was born in Hungary. He has been performing on stage for 25 years and was engaged immediately after completing his musical theatre training for both the roles of Jesus and Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar.” This was followed by leading roles in major musical productions such as “West Side Story,” “Rent,” “Fame,” and “Beauty and the Beast,” performed in Europe and the United States. At the age of 22, István directed his first stage production, marking the beginning of his work as a stage director. In 2022, István won first prize on the television talent show “Hungary’s Got Talent” (Ungarn sucht den Superstar). Most recently, he portrayed Javert in “Les Misérables.”
