Katrin Mayer

Katrin Mayer is from the black forest in Germany. After her highschool diploma she studied Musicaltheater and acting in Freiburg (Germany) and at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York. Where she played in different Movies and Musicalgalas and was a member of the tapdance ensemble at the Duke theater on 42nd street and broadway. In Germany and Europe she played different mainroles in Musicaltheater, Operetta and Opera e.g. in „Cabaret“, „Beauty and the Beast", „Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat", „Evita", „The black spider", „Anatevka", „Forever Joung“, „The Secretarys“, „The Impresario“, „Martha“, „In the white Horse Inn“, „The merry widow“, „Sissy“, „Helen of Troy“,..She is often seen as a lead soloist in different Galas and Shows as well e.g. for „Teatro Colombino“, „Musical Gaumenschmaus“and „Wacky Productions“. Is part of the crossover duo Jocker's Paradise and has her own Soloprogramm including the repertoire of Opera, Operetta, Musical, Jazz, Pop and Chanson, which she performs throughout southern Germany in different Galas and with „Avalon cruises“or on „the Dream Ship“ „MS Amadea“. Katrin Mayer is part of the ensemble in „The Night of Musicals“ since over ten years now where you can see her in the classical Sopranoroles.
