Katrin Mayer

Katrin Mayer is from the black forest in Germany! After her high school diploma, she studied musical theatre and acting in Freiburg (Germany) and at the Lee Strasberg theatre and film institute in New York. Where she played in different movies and musical galas and was a member of the tap dance ensemble at the Duke theatre on 42nd street and Broadway. In Germany and Europe, she played different roles in musical theatre e.g. "Belle" in " Beauty and the Beast", "the narrator" in "Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dream coat", "Mistress" in "Evita", "the devil" in "The black spider", "Zeitel and Fruma-Sara" in "Anatevka"... She is a lead soloist in different Galas and Shows e.g. „Teatro Colombino“, „the Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala“, different operetta galas.. Is part of the crossover duo Jocker's Paradise and has her own solo program including Opera, Operetta, Musical, Jazz, Pop and Chanson, which she performs throughout southern Germany or recently as a soloist on the Traumschiff „MS Amadea“. Katrin Mayer is part of the ensemble in „Die Nacht der Musicals“ since six years where you can see her in classical soprano roles. www.katrinmayer.de
