Nadja Plattner

The Lower Austrian coloratura soprano studied solo singing at the Franz Schubert Conservatory and with Peter Svensson. She attended the Classical Operetta course at the Konservatorium-Privatuniversität Wien and graduated in 2013 with the “Paritätische Bühnenreifeprüfung” in opera with honor. Already during her training, she could be heard in the Art Nouveau theater, the Konzerthaus and the Wiener Festwochen. Engagements took her to Coburg (Viktoria and her hussar), to the classical festival Kirchstetten (Le Nozze di Figaro), to the Baden stage (Les Miserábles) and to the Felsenbühne Staatz (Les Miserábles). Her wide-ranging repertoire includes parts from opera, operetta and musical: e.g. "Olympia" (Hoffmann's Tales), "Adele" (The Bat), "Cosette" (Les Miserábles), or even "Maria" (West Side Story). At the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in 2012 she was engaged at the Ronacher in "Phantom of the Opera" and in 2013 she was engaged as Cover Christine in "Love Never Dies".
